This post and recipe for my Hocus Pocus Potion were created for #HalloweenTreatsWeek! I was sent samples by some of the sponsor companies but as always opinions are 100% mine.
This hocus potion drink that I made this week is perfect for adults and kiddos alike. There is no alcohol in it whatsoever and is a great drink to share at parties.
This drink recipe only uses a few simple ingredients and my favorite? Litehouse Gala Apple Cider.
How to Make Hocus Pocus Potion
To make this hocus pocus drink potion, start by rimming your glasses with some honey. Then, using whatever Halloween sprinkles you have, cover the honey with the sprinkles.
We used some black sugar crystals from the Halloween Test Tube sprinkle pack from Wilton and they turned out great.
To make the drink, you are going to start with about 2 cups of apple cider. Put it in a pourable measuring bowl. It makes it easier to be able to pour into the glasses.
In the same bowl, add in 1 cup of club soda. Because it will look brown, you will want to change the color of it, so add in a couple of drops of blue food coloring.
To finish it off, add in about 1/4 cup of grenadine syrup. The red will deepen making it look like blood!
The sweetness from the apple cider really sets this drink off perfectly!

I like the ingredients for this drink but of course, the presentation is what made this a real stand out. If plans push through, my sister will be visiting this weekend. I will make this for her.
