The Best Homemade Poppyseed Dressing

Sharing is caring!

This easy homemade poppyseed dressing will become your new favorite dressing for all your summer salads.

Ever since I learned that I can make my own homemade dressings at home, I never buy store bought anymore.

One of my most popular dressing recipes is my homemade ranch dressing and my copycat Rafferty's Hot Bacon Dressing.

Now, I can add this delicious homemade poppyseed dressing recipe as well. It is SO delicious and tastes great on a good spinach salad with berries.

How to Make Homemade Poppyseed Dressing

Another great dressing that I make is my Copycat Olive Garden Salad Dressing that is my favorite go-to when I want something tangy.

Well — it was my favorite until I started making this one.

Now — it is my all time favorite.

So how easy is it to make this delicious dressing?

All you need are a few simple pantry ingredients —

I like to buy my poppy seeds in bulk. Then, I just store them in the refrigerator. I like making a lot of dishes that use poppy seeds so by buying them in bulk, I save money in the long run.

All you have to do is add everything to a food processor or a blender (leave the poppy seeds out until the last minute) and then pulse until the onion is fully grated.

From there, add in your poppy seeds and you have the perfect dressing for any salad.
