To throw this seasoning mix together, you will need a small mixing bowl, a whisk (optional), and a set of measuring spoons.

Directions:

  1. Combine all of your ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  2. Stir contents to evenly combine.
  3. Store in an airtight and moisture-resistant container in a dry, cool area for up to 2 months.

If you plan on making this with chicken swap out the salt for chicken bouillon.

This seasoning works well when added to different kinds of sauces, marinades, and soups, so don’t be afraid to experiment with it!

The kind of sugar you use is really up to you. Brown sugar and coconut sugar are common substitutes for granulated white sugar and are perfectly acceptable.

Due to the sugar, you really don’t want it getting too warm and you don’t want it to be around moisture while it’s being stored. That’s a good way to ruin your seasoning! If need be, you can get some moisture protection packets online. Handy!

Quality spices will determine the quality of the outcome of your recipe. If you want a seasoning that packs a punch of flavor, it’s worth every penny to buy the quality spices.
