Whipped Cottage Cheese Dip

Sharing is caring!

This Whipped Cottage Cheese Dip is the perfect healthy, high-protein easy dip recipe. Simple ingredients like creamy cottage cheese and feta whipped together with, olive oil, then topped with marinated tomatoes, lemon juice, and fresh herbs. This is my favorite dip and is great for those who love a creamy dip without any cream cheese!

This high-protein dip is bursting with flavor! You can serve it as is for a filling vegetarian meal or as a side dish for a game day dip. This easy recipe has so much more flavor than a normal sour cream dip and it is PACKED with protein.

Cottage cheese has been trending on TikTok lately because it is a great source of protein and everyone is eating it up (literally)! In fact, this plain cottage cheese dip has 25 grams of protein and makes the perfect dip to help you reach your daily protein intake.

The creamy texture is full of protein, it’s a super versatile ingredient that can be used in a wide variety of meals. So, we’re happy to jump on board with the trend!

I am not a fan of the texture of cottage cheese, and even I am learning to love this high-protein food choice. It tastes amazing when you whip it into a food processor. It just changes the whole flavor.

If you are not a fan of cottage cheese, this is the best way to learn to like it. I promise you! Once you blend it up, it loses that cottage cheese taste.

It even makes a great after-school snack. Serve it with some raw vegetables and pita chips. It really does make it a great healthy snack.

This delicious dip comes together in less than 10 minutes. Sprinkle on some black pepper to finish it and voila! One of the best meals you have ever eaten. If you are a ranch lover, simply add some ranch seasoning which would be a great addition to this dip recipe.

How to Make Whipped Cottage Cheese Dip

In a food processor, add 1/2 cup of feta cheese and 1/2 cup of full-fat cottage cheese. You can use fat-free cottage cheese if you want, but I like the full-fat version.

Now, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. You could even add a pinch of garlic powder if you want.

Blend this until creamy. Pour into a bowl and set aside.

In another bowl, chop up 1/2 cup of tomatoes and pour on two tablespoons of olive oil. Chop a teaspoon each of fresh basil and fresh parsley. Add to the bowl with the tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper. Mix together and then pour over the top of the creamy dip.

That's it. This whipped cottage cheese recipe really is that simple. I like to serve this delicious dip with chips, fresh fruit, and fresh veggies, but you can also make crostini to serve with it. For an added bump of flavor, throw in some Greek yogurt for good measure.

My favorite veggies to serve with this are cherry tomatoes, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower, and more.

When ready to put it away, store it in an airtight container.

Not sure why it is not reading properly. Those nutrition facts just don't do right for some reason.
