I received product samples from sponsor companies to aid in the creation of this recipe for Caramel Apple Slices on a Stick for #BacktoSchoolTreats week. All opinions are mine alone.
When my kids were little, I loved making them after school snacks. It was something I always did for them. I knew that by the time they come home, their lunches would have worn off and they would be hungry.
One of my favorites I started making for them was these Caramel Apple Slices on a Stick. They are super simple to make and taste just like a huge caramel apple, but easier to assemble and not as messy!
How to Make Caramel Apple Slices on a Stick
To start, simply slice your apples into about 1/2 inch thick. You want to make sure they are wide enough that your sticks will hold the apples up.
I got these fun sticks from Sweets & Treats Boutique.
Now, lay your apples out on a cutting board or plate. This is where the magic happens! You can literally layer them with anything. For these apples, I didn’t want a thick caramel, so I chose to use Torani Caramel Sauce in the jar to drizzle them with.
I then topped them with my delicious homemade hot fudge sauce and some of the leftover granola I had made. We did one with nuts, then we topped another with these Apple Cider Sprinkles from Sweets & Treats Boutique, and the last one, we topped with granola to give it like an apple crumble feel.
Now, give them to the kiddos to enjoy while they take a break and prepare for homework time. These apples are so delicious and the kids will feel like they are at the fair!

We believe in flavor for all and opportunity for all. In the beginning, Rinaldo and Ezilda Torre visited family in Lucca, Italy. They returned home to San Francisco with handwritten recipes, which they used to create authentic flavored syrups. Needless to say, the syrups were a hit. A lot has happened since then, but our belief has remained the same: Flavor for All, Opportunity for All. It means that not only are the products we make inclusive and approachable but so is our success. We believe everything starts with people, and the only way to truly succeed is to succeed together. Today, you can use more than 100 of our naturally flavored syrups, sauces and beverage bases in coffees, sodas, teas, smoothies, cocktails and more.
