Sharing is caring!

Knowing how to make pumpkin pie spice mix at home will have you falling in love with this flavorful blend. You will never buy store-bought again after this!

I cannot tell you how long I have been buying those small containers of pumpkin pie spice from the store.

If you have ever bought them, then you know the ones I am talking about — they cost about $5 for maybe 2-3 tablespoons of pumpkin pie spice! For real, it is ridiculous!

During the fall and winter months, we bake a lot and I use a ton of pumpkin pie spice. I was constantly running out, so I taught myself how to make it from scratch and now I always have a bunch on hand when I need to bake something.

Everything I need to make this is already right in my pantry, so need to run to the store to grab anything. That's the thing — if you keep a well-stocked pantry, you can make any spice mix you want to! For a complete list of my favorite fall pantry staples, click here.

Making this spice mix only takes 5 minutes.

It is so easy, and very inexpensive, and makes a lot more than the small containers you can buy from the store.

This easy spice mix tastes delicious in any pumpkin recipe that I have made so far.

You can find me using it in recipes like my Pumpkin Gnocchi, and my pumpkin spice pretzels, or my easy Pumpkin Pie Dip.

I love this recipe for pumpkin pie spice because then I can whip it up anytime without having to run to the store just for that or having it on hand all year when I only use it seasonally. Thanks!
