Summer is here and that means cooking inside the house is not really an option right now. When it gets as hot as it has been recently, we move all the cooking outside to our grill and Blackstone Griddle.
Being a chicken lover like I am, I wanted a recipe that was simple and easy but packed a ton of flavor in each bite. This recipe has that and so much more.
I used chicken tenderloins so they would cook faster, but you can use skinless chicken breasts, legs, thighs, wings — whatever you want. It's a very versatile recipe that can be adapted to any part of the chicken.
How to Make Blackstone Griddle Garlic Parmesan Chicken
For this recipe, you need the following ingredients —
- Salted butter
- fresh garlic
- Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Hot Sauce
- Spice mix — Paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes
- Olive oil
- Fresh Parsley
Combine the spice mix with the olive oil. Place chicken breasts in a zip-lock bag and pour the mixture over the chicken. Let it marinate for an hour before cooking.
To make the Parmesan sauce, add the butter to a saucepan over medium heat. Once it has melted, add the remaining ingredients. Set it aside until ready to baste the chicken.
When you are ready to grill them, turn the grill on to medium-high heat. Place the chicken on the Blackstone and let it sear on one side.
Once one side has cooked for about 5 minutes, flip the chicken and start basting the cooked side with the sauce.
Let the chicken cook for 5 minutes on the other side and flip it again. Baste the other side. Once the chicken is cooked through to an internal temperature of 165 degrees, remove the chicken from the grill.
Top the chicken with the remaining sauce and serve with your favorite sides. Mine just happen to be roasted potatoes and these Blackstone Grilled Brussels Sprouts.
If you want, you can make these in the air fryer at home as well. Or you can make them inside if you want, I just prefer to cook on my Blackstone a lot during the summer months.
