TikTok Brazilian Candy

Sharing is caring!

If you have been over to TikTok make this amazing candy recipe! TikTok Brazilian Candy looks delicious but does it really taste as good as everyone says it does? When we first saw the viral video, we were very skeptical. We decided to put it to the test to see if it was as good as everyone was saying it was.

Let me say — this candy will go into my memory bank and we will be making it A LOT this summer! If you love making candy like this, be sure and check out another great candy — TikTok Candied Grapes (Jolly Rancher Candy Grapes).

Making this candy is so simple and easy. There really are no directions, so bear with me as I try to explain how to make this. If you are a fan of coconut, you will love our addition.

We tweaked it a bit from the original recipe to give it more flavor. We added coconut-sweetened condensed milk instead of regular. It gave it the perfect coconut kisses that it needed.

How to Make TikTok Brazilian Candy

For the first step, you will need

  • 1 tablespoon of butter
  • 1 can of coconut-sweetened condensed milk
  • 3-4oz of unsweetened coconut flakes

Cook that in a medium saucepan over medium heat until it comes together and is not sticking to the pan. Time varies, so just watch it and use your own judgment.

Let it cool and then roll it into small balls. If you took these small balls and coated them in chocolate, you would have coconut bon bons.

For the next step, you will need

  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of white distilled vinegar

Mix together in a small saucepan and set the stovetop to high. Leave it alone and let it boil until the sugar turns an amber color. This will take just a couple of minutes.

Now dip the coconut balls in the amber sugar coating using a fork. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and allow it to cool all the way, about 30-60 minutes. The outer sugar shell will harden making this the best candy you will have put in your mouth! It is definitely a favorite candy among my daughter and I!

It has the perfect crunchy perfection. This hard shell candy will not last long. Everyone will be eating it and then you will need to turn around and make another batch.

Oh man....these are dangerous. They are SO good! And they are pretty easy to make. You just have to keep a close eye on your sugar mixture because it can burn very quickly. Mine did at least. They came out really good for the most part. I got 25 balls out of this recipe. I definitely would recommend trying these!
