This fresh peach salsa is so refreshing and full of flavor. Use it as a topping for dishes like grilled fish or delicious shrimp tacos. If you're like me, you'll eat this fresh peach salsa recipe with tortilla chips as a dip! No matter how you choose to eat it, this is a great way to use fresh peaches during peach season.
This recipe uses fresh ingredients like juicy peaches, ripe Roma tomatoes, red onion (or white onion), jalapenos, fresh cilantro, and fresh lime juice. Season with a little salt and pepper for a spicy dip that is a bit fruity and tasty!
This fresh salsa will be a hit at any party or get-together this summer. It is different than regular tomato salsa, so feel free to serve them both at your gathering. If this is the first time you are serving this, trust me when I say that your friends and family will have you making this at every function.
How to Make This Easy Peach Salsa Recipe
I don't know about you but I love peach season and those delicious summer peaches. Those fresh juicy peaches are all the rage in my house. I always buy a huge box of them and make all kinds of desserts and main dishes with them.
If you wind up having too many and they start getting too ripe, be sure to check out this post that has a list of all the things you can do with ripe peaches.
Basically, all you need to do is dice up all your ingredients and place them in a large bowl. Mix well and enjoy. If you do not like chunky salsa, you can use a food processor and puree it a little more. However, I love the chunky bits in the salsa to serve with my favorite tortilla chips.
Store the salsa in an airtight container. It should last about 3 to 4 days. I like to put this on grilled chicken breasts then drizzle with some balsamic reduction and a sprinkling of feta cheese.

If you want to switch this salsa up, change out the peaches for mangoes and make mango salsa.
What Kind of Tomatoes Are Best?
For this recipe and for the best flavor, I would use Roma tomatoes. If you do not have those, then a Beefsteak or a more fleshy tomato would be best like cherry tomatoes. Heirloom tomatoes are too soft for this recipe. I would use a tomato that can stand up to lime juice.
Can I Use Canned Peaches?
You can use canned peaches for this salsa recipe, however, just make sure that the can is completely drained. Fresh peaches have a better bite to them while canned peaches are really soft, so keep that in mind.
