My Basic Macaron Recipe
Here is my basic recipe that I use for all of my cookies. Most people use a scale and measure in grams. I have never done that and my cookies always turn out fabulous.
- 1 cup of almond flour — I only use Blue Diamond Almond Flour — you can get it from Sam's or online at Amazon.
- 1 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
- 1 tablespoon of egg white powder
- 1 tablespoon of whatever flavor you are wanting the cookie to taste like (chocolate, strawberry powder, cinnamon, etc)
For the meringue portion of the cookie, you need:
- 3 egg whites that are room temperature
- 1/2 cup of sugar
From there, the flavor combos can get super exciting based on whatever you want to make.
