Whenever fruits and veggies come in season, I love making yummy foods with them. One of my favorite to make are muffin recipes, like this one for the best homemade strawberry muffins.

I have been buying a lot of fruit lately from local farmers. I got these delicious strawberries from Harris Farms, right here in my town. They have the best flavor and is what really makes these muffins sing!

How to Make Homemade Strawberry Muffins

To make these muffins, you only need a few simple ingredients. This recipe is sweetened by the strawberries and with honey instead of sugar. This gives them a more natural flavor.

I use a cookie scoop to make sure that all my muffin tins are filled evenly. You can just place it right into the muffin tin, but I like to use cupcake liners.
It just makes for a more easily transportable dessert.

We love making these muffins and either eating them for breakfast or as a snack when I need something to tide me over.

Homemade Strawberry Muffins

This recipe for easy homemade strawberry muffins is perfect for breakfast on the go or a snack when you are hungry.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 3/4 cup honey
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups chopped strawberries
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and mix well.
- Sift flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl.
- Add flour mixture and milk alternately to the butter mixture.
- Add vanilla. Mix.
- Gently stir in strawberries.
- Spoon batter into muffin pans.
- Bake at 400º for 20-25 minutes.

Yum, I love Strawberry muffins, especially homemade! This sounds like a great easy recipe! And I know what you mean about the snow, our 3-5 inches turned in like 18-20 inches! Grr!
